The submission process

Submission involves the following phases:

  1. Setting up an EasyChair account (unless you are already have an EasyChair account)
  2. Abstract Submission
  3. Full Paper Submission
  4. Full Paper Re-Submission (in cases where reviewers request changes to the paper).

Authors wishing to present a full manuscript for inclusion in the conference proceedings are requested to submit the manuscript prepared as a camera ready copy, using the template and guidelines downloadable from the conference website.

Manuscripts will be reviewed by referees and returned to the authors if corrections are required. The refereeing process of the DUE Conferences are designed to meet the requirements specified by the Department of Higher education and Training for refereed Conference Proceedings. The programme will contain the required information in the front pages to support academic authors to submit their papers to DHET for publication incentive subsidies.

All submissions and reviews for this conference will be facilitated via the online EasyChair system. This system allows you as author to submit your abstract and paper and receive responses from reviewers. In order to use the system, you will need to set up an EasyChair account.

Download the Transfer of Copyright Agreement form here. This form must be signed by all authors, and should be sent to when you submit your paper. Please ensure that this reaches the organisers no later than the 1st March.

Abstract submission

Abstract submission is OPEN . Please access the EasyChair submission facility for abstract submissions here.

Please note: Abstracts should be between 200 and 220 words and submitted using the online system by entering (copy and pasteing) the information into the fields provided online only. Please do not upload an abstract as a document.

Please do not upload a paper before the abstract is accepted.

Authors will been informed on the abstract review decisions within 7 days.

Full paper submission

Full paper submission will be facilitated via EasyChair for authors of accepted abstracts.

Please submit your paper via the EasyChair submission system as an MS Word file strictly in accordance with the template instructions.
